Move over SS12 collections, the thing to get excited about this Spring is the forthcoming book from Lanvin. It documents the Lanvin team and the process of creating a collection, from blank page to realisation. Priced at €320 and containing 3000 photos, mathematically that seems like a top deal.

SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS / LCD SOUNDSYSTEM (2012)
Remember when you first heard LCD Soundsystem? Remember when you first realised how much you hearted them? Remember the pain you felt upon hearing they were ending it all at the (possible) pinnacle of their career? Well Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace have threaded these ideas together in this Sundance selected narrative film documenting the days leading up to their final mega shows at MSG.
Trailer makes it seem like a kind of emotional indie tale, in a similar vein to that new philosophically ironic, indie black comedy genre that seems to be a big thing now in Hollywood. Hopefully it’s more fun though, cause LCD Soundsystem were one of the funnest bands around and the idea alone of going to see said last show(s) made me want to dance that misery right out.
